Ministro Carlos Montes también declara por caso Democracia Viva ante los fiscales de Antofagasta: Más de dos horas duró interrogatorio

El secretario de Estado entró por los estacionamientos a la Fiscalía Nacional después de desecharse otro lugar para que compareciera en calidad de testigo en el caso Convenios.
Minutos antes de que saliera la exencargada de Asentamientos Precarios, Verónica Serrano, de las dependencias de la Fiscalía Nacional, a eso de las 19.30 horas, ingresó por los estacionamientos el ministro de Vivienda, Carlos Montes, para también declarar en el caso Democracia Viva.
Si bien inicialmente se contempló que prestara declaración en su oficina, la extensión de la diligencia anterior, que comenzó cerca de las 15.00 horas, y coordinaciones con el equipo de los fiscales, gatillaron que esta se desarrollara en el edificio de Catedral 1421.
Montes ingresó sin hacer declaraciones, aunque consultado por La Tercera, aseveró que aprovecharía esta instancia para insistir en que él se enteró de todas las irregularidades vinculadas a Democracia Viva cuando la información salió en medios de prensa. Es decir el 16 de junio y no antes, como aseveró la exsubsecretaria Tatiana Rojas.
Las diligencias son desarrolladas por el Fiscal Regional de Antofagasta, Juan Castro Bekios, además del fiscal adjunto Cristian Araneda.
Montes estuvo hasta las 21.30 horas en la Fiscalía Nacional. Está contemplado que este viernes se tome declaración como imputada a la diputada Catalina Pérez
