Irací Hassler consolida el respaldo del oficialismo y la DC a su repostulación en Santiago

Vecinos, dirigentes y militantes del bloque se congregaron en Plaza de Armas donde enarbolaron banderas, desplegaron lienzos y se encontraron con la alcaldesa quien agradeció el apoyo unitario.
Al finalizar la tarde del viernes, militantes de partidos políticos, representantes de organizaciones sociales y vecinos de la comuna se reunieron en Plaza de Armas de Santiago para celebrar la decisión del bloque oficialista y la DC de apoyar la reelección de la alcaldesa Irací Hassler como candidata única del sector.
Al grito de “Irací, otra no” se congregaron frente al palacio consistorial, miembros del PS, PL, PR, DC, Frente Amplio y PC, entre quienes se encontraban la diputada de Convergencia Social, Emilia Schneider, y las diputadas comunistas Alejandra Placencia y Karol Cariola.
En el lugar, la alcaldesa Hassler agradeció la muestra de respaldo y destacó algunos de los avances de su gestión.
“Hoy celebramos la unidad, celebramos que Santiago avanza y que vamos a avanzar mucho más. Porque hemos llevado adelante un proceso de cambio, de transformación, hemos puesto en el centro tener un buen vivir”, señaló.
Hassler describió a Santiago como “una comuna hermosa, patrimonio de todo Chile; una comuna que tiene los parques públicos más relevantes de la Región Metropolitana, capital de la educación pública. Una educación pública donde estamos recomponiendo las confianzas, invirtiendo en infraestructura después de tanta violencia y tanto abandono”.
“Somos una comuna que ha puesto en el centro su mayor patrimonio que son sus comunidades, las comunidades organizadas que están acá presentes. Desde todos los barrios”, agregó.
Respecto al respaldo a su candidatura, la jefa comunal celebró el apoyo unitario.
“En Santiago y en Chile las fuerzas progresistas, las fuerzas de izquierda, las fuerzas transformadoras nos hemos puesto de acuerdo, porque no queremos retroceder, no vamos a dar ni un paso atrás y es por eso que hemos definido trabajar y proyectarnos en conjunto”, sostuvo en su discurso frente a los adherentes.
