Tras demanda de Canal 13: municipalidad insiste en adjudicar la licitación del Festival de Viña a Mega

Desde el municipio viñamarino señalan que el proceso no fue paralizado, por lo que la oferta del canal privado podrá ser votado el 2 de mayo por los concejales.
El pasado 19 de abril, Canal 13 presentó una demanda solicitando declarar ilegal y arbitrario el informe emitido por la Comisión Evaluadora del Festival de Viña ante la propuesta de Mega, alegando que no se cumplieron con las exigencias establecidas en las Bases de Licitación y los principios generales de la contratación pública.
A pesar de esta acción legal, fuentes internas de la municipalidad viñamarina señalan que el proceso no fue paralizado y sigue en curso, manteniendo la fecha prevista para su aprobación el 2 de mayo. Además, indican que el Tribunal ordenó la suspensión del proceso, por lo que continuarán conforme a lo planificado, según lo acordado con el Concejo Municipal.
En caso de que la propuesta de Mega sea aprobada el 2 de mayo, se anularían las objeciones planteadas por Canal 13. Esto implicaría que se desestiman las supuestas infracciones a las bases de la licitación, que incluyen aspectos como el uso de la Quinta Vergara y la rentabilización del canal de YouTube oficial del certamen.
