Abogado que participó en querellas de casos de alta connotación pública asumirá como Administrador de la Aduana de San Antonio

Ángelo Vergara es profesional de Aduanas desde el 2013 y trabajó en los casos La Polar, Parived, Matte y Andes Tabaco, entre otras.
A partir del jueves 2 de mayo el abogado Ángelo Vergara Colombo será el nuevo Administrador de la Aduana de San Antonio, según informó hoy el Servicio Nacional de Aduanas.
El profesional ingresó el año 2013 al Servicio. Durante este tiempo ha ocupado diversos cargos, tanto en la Aduana de Iquique como en la Aduana Metropolitana, así como también en la Dirección Nacional del Servicio.
En la primera Aduana fue Jefe de Fiscalización, Encargado de Asesoría Jurídica Operativa. En la Dirección Nacional y en la Aduana Metropolitana se desempeñó en los respectivos departamentos de Defensa Judicial.
Esta última plaza es la que ocupa a la fecha de nombramiento que lo destina a San Antonio, y desde la cual ha estado vinculado a la redacción y tramitación de querellas de alto impacto público de los últimos años, específicamente vinculadas a delitos de contrabando, lavado de activos, asociación ilícita y delitos tributarios, varias de las cuales están aún en proceso y en las que las investigaciones y querellas de Aduanas han sido los puntos de inicio de las investigaciones del Ministerio Público y las policías. Entre los más conocidos están los casos La Polar, Parived, Caso Relojes, Joyas Robadas, Caso Matte y Andes Tabaco.
Vergara Colombo es abogado de la Universidad de Valparaíso y en su formación destacan especializaciones en Derecho Penal Económico, así como un post título de Especialización en Prevención de la Corrupción en los sectores Público y Privado cursado en la Universidad de Castilla – La Mancha, España y un Magíster (c) en Dirección y Gestión Pública.
