«La resaca de la negociación» por Samuel Olguin Castro

Esta semana, el oficialismo + DC estuvo de fiesta. La fiesta fue grande, tuvo muchos invitados: 11 partidos, 346 comunas, 86 primarias, + de 24 horas de jarana , 137 municipios invitados que buscan mantener la hegemonia del progresismo y otros 209 que esperan un giro en su conducción. Como «Contigo Chile mejora», bautizaron la fiesta.
Pero al despertar varios nos levantamos con resaca. No todos estaban contentos: los que quedaron fuera, los que perdieron oportunidades o los que no consiguieron lo que buscaban. Claro, en una negociación hay quienes ganan y quienes pierden. Aún cuando pueden ser dolorosas, la gracia de las negociaciones es que ambas partes tengan capacidad de juego. En una negociación no se puede pretender ganarlo todo, por más, que la negociación genere hegemonías en el poder.
En estos momentos, es necesario recordar por qué era importarte el camino unitario. El 7 de mayo de 2023, el partido republicano obtuvo el 35,41% de los votos para el Consejo Constitucional y lograron elegir a 23 de sus candidatos, lo que convirtió a Republicanos en la primera fuerza politica de Chile. Republicanos, un partido de extrema derecha, ultraconservador, populista, pinochetista y autoritario.
A veces se nos olvida que cuando el capitalismo entra en crisis, no se derrumba sino que se revoluciona a sí mismo. Estuvimos al borde de que este modelo brutal implantando en la más feroz dictadura, decantara en una versión aun mas brutal (si es que eso se puede) mediante un Consejo Constitucional elegido democráticamente. Como dijo alguien por ahí, miramos al abismo y el nos miró a nosotros.
En definitiva, la fiesta es para celebrarla. Alabo que mi partido, el Partido Socialista de Chile, haya hecho lo correcto. Ad portas de cumplir 91 años, podremos decirle a las próximas generaciones que en momentos dificiles, nos pusimos el overol, nos arremangamos la camisa y trabajamos por la victoria de las fuerzas populares y demócraticas.
