Presidente Boric sostuvo que impulsará un acuerdo para cambiar sistema político

El mandarario dijo que desde el Gobierno «promoveremos un acuerdo entre las diferentes fuerzas políticas que incluya a la gran mayoría de ellas, ojalá a todas».
En marco del Encuentro Nacional de la Empresa (Enade) el Presidente Gabriel Boric afirmó que impulsará un acuerdo para llegar a una reforma al sistema político.
El mandatario sostuvo que «como Presidente de la República estoy a favor de una reforma al sistema político, considero valiosas muchas de las propuestas que en este sentido se han planteado y creo también que debemos legislar al respecto en este periodo de Gobierno para lo cual, desde el Gobierno, promoveremos un acuerdo entre las diferentes fuerzas políticas que incluya a la gran mayoría de ellas, ojalá a todas».
Boric recalcó que «no hago ningún tipo de cálculo transaccional ni tampoco apuestas electorales futuras porque lo que es bueno para Chile no tiene que estar sujeto a cálculos pequeños».
«Lo que he afirmado y sostengo es que sería insultante para la mayoría de la población y contribuiría al desprestigio de la política que quienes estamos y somos parte de este oficio seamos capaces de sacar adelante modificaciones sobre las reglas que rigen nuestra actividad, pero que no logremos en cambio un acuerdo sobre algo tan urgente que afecta a la mayoría de nuestros compatriotas y en lo que nos hemos demorado más de una década que es la reforma de pensiones», añadió.
El jefe de Estado también llamó a aprobar el pacto fiscal y la reforma previsional. «Nuestro país puede y debe crecer más; y los frutos de ese crecimiento pueden y deben distribuirse mejor para que lleguen efectivamente a los hogares de las familias chilenas. Por eso nuestra insistencia en avanzar hacia un pacto fiscal omnicomprensivo, integral y, por cierto, en la reforma de pensiones», manifestó.
Y añadió que «no es majadería, es convicción. No es ideologismo como se nos acusa, es realismo porque tal como no hay crecimiento sin estabilidad ni inversión no hay estabilidad sin cohesión social ni seguridad en todos los planos. Certezas para invertir, certezas para vivir es lo que necesitamos todos en nuestra patria»,
