PDG y Partido Republicano enfrentan pérdidas de diputados clave en el Congreso

Francisco Pulgar, Yovana Ahumada, Víctor Pino, Rubén Oyarzo y Gaspar Rivas han dado un paso al lado dentro del Partido de la Gente. Mientras que, Gonzalo De la Carrera, Gloria Naveillán, Leonidas Romero, Johannes Kaiser, Cristóbal Urruticoechea y Mauricio Ojeda, lo han hecho en el Partido Republicano.
Desde el Congreso Nacional se observa el posible declive de dos fuerzas, el Partido de la Gente (PDG) y el Partido Republicano, que alguna vez prometieron un cambio en el panorama político chileno.
Con seis diputados en su inicio en 2022, el PDG ahora se reduce a una única representante, la diputada Karen Medina. Las renuncias sucesivas de legisladores, impulsadas por diferencias internas y descontento con la dirección del partido.
Según lo que consigna La Tercera, las tensiones dentro del PDG vienen desde hace un tiempo, con disputas internas entre la dirección del partido y los parlamentarios. Críticas hacia la gestión del líder Franco Parisi y conflictos sobre el proceso constituyente han minado la cohesión del partido. La última salida se produjo tras la expulsión del diputado Gaspar Rivas por el Tribunal Supremo, generando más divisiones. Entre los diputados que han abandonado el PDG se encuentran Francisco Pulgar, Yovana Ahumada, Víctor Pino, Rubén Oyarzo y Gaspar Rivas.
Por otro lado, el Partido Republicano, liderado por José Antonio Kast, también ha enfrentado desafíos similares. A pesar de su inicio con 14 diputados en 2022, la salida de varios parlamentarios debido a discrepancias ideológicas o diferencias con la dirección del partido debilitaron su presencia dentro del Congreso. Desde la renuncia del senador Rojo Edwards y de otros parlamentarios han marcado un periodo de turbulencia para la agrupación.
Entre los diputados que han dejado el Partido Republicano se encuentran Gonzalo De la Carrera, Gloria Naveillán, Leonidas Romero, Johannes Kaiser, Cristóbal Urruticoechea y Mauricio Ojeda.
