Maduro propone a Boric un diálogo directo para combatir el crimen organizado

El presidente de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, propuso este lunes al presidente Gabriel Boric, establecer un diálogo directo para combatir el crimen organizado y evitar enfrentamientos por declaraciones sobre grupos criminales que Caracas considera extintos, pero que son señalados por numerosos delitos en Chile.
«Le digo públicamente al presidente Gabriel Boric, si usted quiere hablar de estos temas, conversemos personalmente», dijo el mandatario en su programa semanal de televisión, durante el que ofreció ayuda a Chile para enfrentar la delincuencia con el «modelo de pacificación» aplicado en Venezuela.
A su juicio, responder a las declaraciones críticas de Boric, con quien mantiene «diferencias muy grandes», conducirá a enfrentamientos sin soluciones y en «acusaciones al aire» que luego «se convierten en campaña contra Venezuela».
«Es lo que quisiera hablar personalmente, por teléfono, videoconferencia o por alguna vía con el presidente Boric (…) dialoguemos, conversemos y busquemos las vías para combatir a los grupos criminales», insistió.
Boric se reunió el sábado con su embajador en Caracas, Jaime Gazmuri, tras su llamamiento a consultas en protesta por unas recientes declaraciones del canciller venezolano, Yván Gil, en las que negaba la existencia de la organización criminal ‘El tren de Aragua’, acusada por delitos en varios países de la región.
Tras el encuentro, que se produjo dos días después del llamamiento del mandatario y al que asistió también la subsecretaria de Relaciones Exteriores, Gloria de la Fuente, la titular de la cartera descartó romper relaciones con Venezuela y confirmó que el embajador Gazmuri retornará a Caracas en los próximos días.
El jefe de Estado chileno, que se ha distanciado del Ejecutivo venezolano en varias ocasiones, dijo que negar una realidad que considera tangible y acreditada «no es una opción», y calificó de «irresponsables» las palabras de Gil sobre ‘El tren de Aragua’, una organización que nació en una cárcel venezolana.
