La presidenta del Partido Socialista (PS) señaló que «se nos mantuvo marginados, por lo que aquí hay una crítica política a la gestión del gobernador».
Paulina Vodanovic, presidenta del Partido Socialista (PS), salió en defensa de sus militantes frente a los comentarios del gobernador regional de Valparaíso, Rodrigo Mundaca, quien insinuó que algunos se habían vuelto oficialistas durante la segunda vuelta de la campaña presidencial para luego obtener cargos en el Gobierno.
Vodanovic expresó su respaldo a los militantes del PS y criticó los comentarios de Mundaca, señalando que estos afectan el ánimo colectivo del partido. Además, destacó que «nunca hubo diálogo político con nuestro partido, se nos mantuvo marginados de esa gestión, por lo que aquí hay una crítica política a la gestión del gobernador Mundaca, a quien, al parecer, no le gusta escuchar otras opiniones».
En relación con la candidatura oficialista del gobernador regional, Vodanovic mencionó que «hay un interés en que tengamos un candidato único, pero que sea representativo de los intereses de los partidos del pacto. Como partido pretendemos tener una candidatura única y vamos a buscar quien represente los intereses del oficialismo y del pacto progresista».
